We are excited to announce that we are moving forward with Phase 1 playground and basketball court upgrades.
For Phase 1, we will be:
a) repairing and refinishing the existing court and restriping it for basketball and pickleball;
b) replacing the two picnic tables under the pavilion with new 8 foot heavy duty tables, including one that meets ADA compliance requirements;
c) replacing the current hut with bench by the baby swings with a new six foot contour swing bench;
d) replacing the benches around the playground and court with new benches that have the Deercreek name on them;
e) adding pavers around the benches to replace the dirt;
f) depending on paver inventory we will create various paved walkways throughout the area.
Phase 2 of the project is still under development and has not been proposed yet, but will include a complete replacement of the existing playground equipment and building of a new pavilion with picnic tables and bathrooms.
