If you see an animal in the neighborhood (snakes, alligators, coyotes, etc) that are dangerous to either residents or their pets, the Board has established a new point of contact procedure to ensure that these instances are properly handled. Please contact Board Member Justin Bateh by phone or text at 904-662-3936. Justin can help facilitate through the property management company contacting appropriate agencies or services to come take a look.
Of course, you may always contact Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission on your own. Also i,f a person has a concern about a nuisance alligator, there is a toll-free Nuisance Alligator Hotline available at: 866-FWC-GATOR(866-392-42986).
However, sometimes these agencies take a while and there are private services that we have contacts weith who may provide same day trap and release services. Since we all have a vested interest in keeping our kids and pets safe, we have found that by going through the Board to the Management Company directly to the specific services, we receive more prompt service and have built in accountability to ensure things are followed through. Justin is more than happy to help facilitate these requests and follow through.
