Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year’s Fashion Show a wonderful event. Barbara Denman, Janet Daechsel and Karen Sayre worked tirelessly on the raffle, working with Deercreek Country Club, helping the models find the perfect outfits, setting up the raffle and decorating the club with a team of helpers, and organizing everyone throughout, resulting in the wonderful event that many of you attended.
The raffle prizes were so tempting, and thank you to all those generous people who either donated many of the items or who asked local businesses to. A big thank you also goes to those who purchased tickets. This is our main way of fundraising and without both the donors and the supporters, the raffle would not be so successful. Congratulations to all those who won, and commiserations to those who had to watch the coveted items go to their friends!
The models looked amazing & a special thank you must go to both Karen and Barbara who were so patient in helping us all select the outfits, which were once again supplied by Dillards at The Avenues. On the day, our hair & make up were expertly done by Samantha Blake & Sandra Santos and we were so grateful for Janet & Karen’s help both ‘backstage’ and guiding us to ensure the order and timing went well.
Tremendous thanks, once again, goes to our MC, Kimberlee Gibbs, who looked stunning as always, and led us through the models and their outfits with such professionalism, you made it look so easy.
Finally, thank you, of course, goes to everyone who supported the Home & Garden Club Fashion Show by attending.
