March brings a flurry of activities with the Gate River Run and The Players Championship. Even Deercreek has the Shamrock Scramble, hosted by the Deercreek Women’s Alliance to raise money for the charities it supports. All these events lead to a great quality of life in North Florida and Deercreek. People coming to town for the River Run or TPC may decide to vacation or relocate to the area. Residents and guests who participate in the Shamrock Scramble know they are helping charities provide for the needs of Hubbard House, PACE Center for Girls, Gabriel House, Ronald McDonald House, Leukemia & Lymphoma society and other worthy causes. The quality of life in an area is one measure which can strengthen or weaken a real estate market and Jacksonville remains strong.
