Thank you to all who attended the Back to School Bash & Open House – the first collaboration between Deercreek Country Club, the HOA Recreation Committee, the Home & Garden Club and the DWA.
We want to thank everyone who worked hard to make this such a fun event, and to all those who joined us. It was a fun time with the food trucks, and great for all the children and adults to spend time with friends and neighbors.
We would especially like to thank those who donated books to the Books-A-Go Go drive (& of course, the Home & Garden Club members who made cookies as a thank you). Thanks to your generosity, Betty Metz was able to take the books directly to the Families of Slain Children Back to School Give Away that was being held that day (see the Women’s Alliance section for more pictures and info from this event), to enable every child there to take home a book, which is something that many of them do not have at home.
