Louie and Amber Samaan
10047 Deercreek Club Road East
When Jacksonville natives Amber and Louie Samaan moved to Deercreek in 2013 they found the support system for their three daughters – his parents and other family who already lived here. The girls have enjoyed the larger yard with a pool and the parents like our central location for commuting.
Their oldest daughter, Haley, has just started at FSU – Go Noles! Mikayla, a junior at Bishop Kinney, has worked with the school’s volunteer team for a few years. Elisa, a seventh grader, and Mom Amber, a teacher, are down the road at Holy Family Catholic School.
Amber credits her landscaper, YPG Lawn Care, with keeping her yard pristine. She likes the layered effect of the ligustrums and red loropetalums that are hedges, trimmed to perfection, against the foundation. Pentas add color in front of the shrubs along the left side. On the right, a bed of four crepe myrtles, with a circular hedge border, blocks the view of the driveway. And not to be missed, two enormous oaks dominate the front along the street.
Her circular drive, she says, nicely separates the bed of four sego palms from their front entrance. Two brick lanterns, graced by miniature azaleas and liriope, lead to their front door, a new set of double tan doors with glass inserts, decorated with bows and long flowers.
Neighborhood walkers appreciate the repair of their sidewalk that went in a circle around a tree but now is straight. Walkers know Hunter, a German shorthaired pointer now retired from bird hunting, who patrols the driveway never barking or growling!
